The name of this sculpture refers to an argentinian lake in the National Park Nahuel Huapi.

The water in this lake comes from Mirror Lake. The water mirror that forms this lake, of a blue-green color, is approximately 27 km², is framed in a mountain range of spectacular beauty and has waters with a higher temperature than Nahuel Huapi.
