Chester is inspired by a walk-through Chester Zoo, one of the largest in the UK. My daughter helped me with the creation of these pieces during the time we lived together in the middle of COVID-19 when she had to give her 16 chemotherapy treatments and I accompanied her. Our bond was strengthened by this joint task. It is a fish born in a process of pain but that ended up being an apprenticeship towards a fuller life. That’s why it’s a happy fish. Made with recycled wood from the northwest of Madrid. Sustainable, light, joyful art.
