Along the rivers Ouse and Foss that converge in the English city of York sails this imposing fish with a penetrating look. An animal that is always on alert, as we were in Buenos Aires those who lived there with a constant feeling of insecurity. This state makes people in the street stop greeting and friendly glances are replaced by looks of distrust. Arriving in Madrid I walked the streets and observed how people greet and look with kindness. I felt comforted and welcomed in a city that was not my own. Inspired by this feeling I found some abandoned wood on the sidewalks and created this painting. Made in completely recycled wood with vivid colors and a great life force.
